After a great race and over 1,400 of you casting your votes, we finally have our big Explorers Club Scholarship Winner!
We’re thrilled to announce that Jeff Borkowski and his project, Guiding Eyes: The Process of Training Guide Dogs will receive the $500 Explorers Club scholarship!!
Jeff has been a volunteer puppy raiser for the past five years, and now will be documenting the process of preparing these dogs for their incredible life helping blind and visually impaired men and women. We were so impressed with his passion for the topic, and how focused he was with his project idea. We know he’s going to tell a great story, and we can’t wait to hear it! Congrats Jeff!
And to all of you who submitted your projects, we hope you’ll keep working towards making them happen! We truly loved hearing your ideas, and hope you’ll share your stories with the world! Stay tuned for more tips on how to make those ideas a reality.
Thanks to everyone who participated! This was a ton of fun!

Seth and Richard, thank you for the kind words. There are so many incredible people, pups, and things that make Guiding Eyes for the Blind what it is. I look forward to sharing little bits of all that with this project. Keep and eye peeled for the images in T-minus a little less than a year!
