Ahoy there friends! We have some super duper exciting news!
Today we officially launch three firsts:
1. Our first documentary photography project!
This spring we spent a month on Prince Edward Island, a small province on the east coast of Canada, documenting lobster culture. This place is a photographer’s dream, and we toured around capturing picturesque wharfs, meeting tons of amazing people, and even spending a day on the ocean documenting how lobster are caught!
We took our favourite photos, videos, stories, and even some local recipes, and created a website for you to explore and enjoy! We’d love for you to check it out, so click here and be transported to Lobster Island!
2. Our first published fine art book!
We’ve always dreamt of having our images published in a book, and we decided this was the time to make it happen! We worked with one of the top printers in Canada to create a beautiful fine art piece that we’re thrilled to have on our bookshelf. And if you love photography, and adventure, you can pick up a signed copy! This is a book we’re so proud to offer, and think you’ll love it! Click here for more details on Lobster Island: The Book!
3. Our first behind-the-scenes eBook!
We had no idea how to put a documentary photography project together, so this experience involved a lot of trial and error learning. But step by step we figured it out! Then we wrote everything down in an eBook so you can do it yourself, faster and easier!
Part adventure story, and part practical guide, How We Did It: Lobster Island will help you plan, shoot and launch your very own dream photography project!
See, documentary photography is an amazing way to share a story you’re passionate about, and become a stronger photographer along the way. You’ll see things in a new light, and enjoy deeper levels of creativity and energy that come from shooting work that you’re fascinated with!

We’ve been working non-stop on this project for months, and we are thrilled (and totally nervous) to launch it out into the world today. We really hope you take a second to check it out, and then let us know what you think! Prince Edward Island is one of the most magical places we’ve ever been, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
