Introducing: Guides!

Updated on March 17, 2020 by Lauren Lim

Upload from March 27, 2012

Last week we sent out a survey to hear from our readers, and get some feedback on Photography Concentrate. The site has grown faster than we ever imagined, and we’re super excited about all the possibility that lies ahead!

Our number one priority is to be creating useful content for you guys, and making it easy to find when you need it! So a big goal this year is to improve the organization of old posts. We have around 180 articles on here so far, but it’s not always a simple task to find what you’re looking for.

So today, the first step in organizing content is the release of Guides! These are pages on one big topic, with links to relevant articles and resources from around Photography Concentrate.

If you want to dive into learning more about business, or lighting, or one of four other core topics, start off with a Guide, and begin working your way through the content!

Here are links to the six guides:

  • Business Guide
  • Gear & Software Guide
  • Subject Interaction Guide
  • Lighting Guide
  • Post-Processing Guide
  • Workflow & Productivity Guide

You’ll find them listed on the Resources page if you need to access them again.

We hope these Guides make it easier for you to learn more about what interests you most!

And of course, a big thank you to everyone who sent us feedback (all 780 of you! Wowzers!). We read through every single response, and have a ton of ideas for how we can help you learn photography! We hope you’re stoked, because we most definitely are!

Now jump into those guides, and get learning!
